One could say tears bring sadness (or sadness brings tears), but sometimes you just have tears of optimism. I found both on the shelf and managed to crack a smile on it.

Pastillas Juanola are a famous brand of liquorice tablets made in Barcelona. The pharmacist Manuel Juanola created them in his pharmacy at carrer Montseny 83, in Gràcia (Barcelona). Now his pharmacy doesn’t exist any more but the tablets still have his name and are well known all over the country.

I’d like to take a picture of Caldocel, a brand registered by my grandfather in his lab at Farmàcia Marquès. I know there are a few copies and I have to contact the owner to let him know my interest… whenever I have some more time.
