Harp is a leading lager brand in Ireland,  created in 1960 by the Guinness Brewery as an answer to British and Irish drinkers who didn’t want the heaviness of Guinness. Notice the Guinness logo contains a golden harp on the top. For many years the slogan “Harp stays sharp”, written by the advertising executive Rod Allen, was used in advertisements.
