Sometimes we would like to know what would happen in another parallel reality of our lives. Sometimes we just guess and argue and defend without seeing the whole thing. The protesters were hit by the police yesterday at plaça Catalunya in Barcelona, and they’ve grown stronger today. What would their future have been in a parallel world where they still defended having their own vegetable garden in a public space?
Guess… and compare.

The protesters of the #spanishrevolution, still camping at plaça Catalunya, calling for an end to suspected longstanding corruption among established parties.
They seem fully installed at the very center of the city; they are growing a vegetable garden (see the left of the fountain) and doing courses on how to make your own toothpaste, among other activities.
They have their own hair saloon, library with a reading room (including a couple of sofas) and many kitchen amenities under the big tops you can see in the center of the image.
They also have a live music area, a communication center fully prepared with laptops and wifi, an international press section and there’s plenty of blackboards everywhere listing what they need every new day (electronic stuff, food, sun tan lotion… etc). They were asking today for someone able to air a live tv morning show.

This is my point of view of the so-called Spanish Revolution 2011.
I can explain it with a glass of a good Scotch and in presence of my lawyer ;-)
