This building uses a typical magnetic shield to block transporter functions in case of a Klingon attack. Such a shield was in use at the Klingon penal colony Rura Penthe to prevent ships from beaming prisoners away from the prison, so is well tested and you can be safe inside ;-)

A water tank in the form of a cardboard box belonging to the old factory Envases Universal J. Rius.
It seems a Dropbox monument! XDD
(… by the way I highly recommend the Dropbox service, you can store your files in a sync folder and work with them wherever you are, with no need to carry them in a USB pen or a flash memory… give it a try!)

What a beautiful day today in Catalunya! Streets are plenty of books and roses to celebrate la Diada de Sant Jordi. The main event is the exchange of gifts between sweethearts, loved ones and respected ones. Historically, men gave women roses, and women gave men a book to celebrate the occasion—”a rose for love and a book forever.” In modern times, the mutual exchange of books is also customary.

This is the fountain at Casa de l’Ardiaca, one of the places where Corpus Christi is celebrated in Barcelona with the 16th-century tradition L’ou com Balla, translated as “dancing egg”.
Emptied eggshells are perched above the water jets of the city fountains, to give the illusion of them dancing in mid-air. The fountains themselves are decorated beautifully for the occasion, with fragrant flowers and fruits.
We’ll have to wait until June 23 this year to see the dancing egg, as Corpus Christi is the following Thursday after the ninth Sunday after the first spring full moon of the Northern Hemisphere… or something like that (anyone with a calculator?)
